Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 1 March 2026
1. Our Commitment
RehabSync is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. As a healthcare technology provider, we believe that digital accessibility is not just a legal requirement but a fundamental part of delivering inclusive, equitable care.
We strive to provide a consistent, usable experience for everyone — whether you are a clinician documenting a session, a practice manager reviewing analytics, or a patient completing an exercise programme. Accessibility is embedded in our design and development process, not treated as an afterthought.
2. Accessibility Standards
RehabSync targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG is the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Level AA compliance means that we address the most common barriers that users with disabilities encounter online.
We also aim to comply with the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 where applicable to our Customers. Our ongoing goal is to ensure the platform meets or exceeds these standards across all features and pages.
3. What We Do
We have implemented the following measures to support accessibility across the RehabSync platform:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — including forms, buttons, menus, and modals — can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone. Visible focus indicators are provided to help keyboard users track their position on the page.
- Screen reader compatibility: The platform is built with semantic HTML and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to ensure that screen readers can accurately interpret and convey page structure, content, and interactive controls.
- Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements (a minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text). We avoid relying on colour alone to convey information, using icons, labels, and patterns alongside colour cues.
- Text resizing: The platform supports browser-level text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. Layouts are responsive and adapt to different screen sizes, zoom levels, and orientations.
- Alternative text: All meaningful images, icons, and visual elements include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers can skip them.
- Form accessibility: All form fields have associated labels, clear error messages, and instructions. Required fields are identified both visually and programmatically. Form validation errors are announced to assistive technologies.
- Consistent navigation: Navigation patterns are consistent throughout the platform. Page headings follow a logical hierarchy, and skip navigation links allow users to bypass repetitive content.
4. Known Limitations
While we work continuously to improve accessibility, some areas of the platform may have limitations that we are actively addressing:
- PDF reports: Some generated PDF reports may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working to implement tagged PDF output that meets accessibility standards.
- Complex data visualisations: Charts and graphs in the analytics dashboard include summary text, but may not convey all data points to screen reader users. We are developing accessible data tables as an alternative view.
- Third-party integrations: Some embedded third-party content (such as payment processing forms) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We actively work with our partners to improve their accessibility compliance.
- Video content: Older tutorial videos may not have captions or transcripts. All new video content is produced with captions and transcripts as standard.
We maintain an internal accessibility backlog and prioritise fixes based on user impact. If you encounter a specific issue, please let us know so we can prioritise it accordingly.
5. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of RehabSync. If you encounter any barriers, have difficulty using a feature, or have suggestions for improvement, please reach out to us:

When reporting an accessibility issue, please include as much detail as possible:

- Any assistive technology in use (e.g., screen reader name and version)
- Steps to reproduce the issue, if possible
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 working days and will provide an estimated timeline for resolution where applicable.
6. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are committed to continuous improvement. Our approach includes:
- Regular automated and manual accessibility audits using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- User testing with people who use assistive technologies, conducted at least quarterly
- Accessibility training for all members of our design and engineering teams
- Accessibility review as a required step in our feature development and release process
- Monitoring of emerging accessibility standards, including preparation for WCAG 2.2 and the European Accessibility Act
We are dedicated to making RehabSync a platform that everyone can use effectively, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue to improve.
